Note: Selecting "allow" for location sharing, will allow you to choose from meeting types, and locations, near you.

Wherever your journey begins, it is NEVER too late to start, or pickup again, your recovery process. Many who struggle with an addiction feel shame, and isolation. Many believe that recovery isn't possible. The Lord's way is peace, forgiveness, confidence, rest from anguish, and hope. God, and Jesus Christ will never stop loving you. All are welcome, and all can be healed. The Atonement of Jesus Christ is the most powerful tool available, as we work to overcome dependencies of any kind. You can expect safe, encouraging, and honest conversations, that will facilitate your recovery.

You may also consider reaching out to the Stake ARP Missionaries, Tyson and Marianne Daugharty, with questions, or concerns, about a loved one ensnared in compulsive behaviors.

Family Services Information

Family Services now offers enhanced consultation, and referrals, for Stake, and Ward Leaders

If you are interested in more information, you may reach out to the office manager, Greg Hendrix.

He can meet with Stake Presidents, Bishops, and other local leaders, to coordinate consultations with Family Services staff. Family Services can help leaders better understand how to evaluate, and identify members, who may need professional counseling.

You might also consider recommending, or using, one of the above Church resources for individuals who do not know how to start the process of recovery, and healing.

Family Services is currently seeking missionaries to serve as facilitators for addiction recovery groups. If a member can support these groups as a Service Missionary, they need to meet with their Bishop to start the application process.
